Michael Pateras began his Rugby career playing in Montreal, Canada. He played Second Row (Lock) for four years and was a member of two city championship teams each in 15's and 7's Rugby. He was invited to try out for the Quebec Provincial Select Side prior to moving to the USA. While attending Loyola University of Chicago, he formed the Loyola University Men’s Rugby Club; it re-established years later and is still active in men’s, as well as women’s, collegiate play. Michael is also a certified 200 Level USA Rugby Coach and Referee.
Michael is the Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs at Richardson Healthcare, a global manufacturing and distribution company providing diagnostic imaging tubes, components and displays for CT and MRI equipment.
Michael lives in Mount Prospect with his wife Janet. His sons Gregory, Brian and Christopher are ASRC alumni.
